La fresque hommage de Tono Cruz à Totò dans le quartier Sanità

Dans le Rione Sanità, à Naples, sur la façade d'un immeuble, il y a une fresque dédiée à Totò.
L'œuvre de street art est de Tono Cruz, artiste espagnol des îles Canaries, elle représente la célèbre scène du film "La banda degli onesti", dans laquelle Totò explique à Peppino comment fonctionne le capitalisme avec la métaphore du sucre. La scène du film peut être vue à ce lien. 
Le capitaliste profite de la naïveté des autres pour leur voler leurs ressources. Ainsi, dans cette scène, puisque Peppino ne sait pas combien de sucre verser dans sa tasse de café, Totò prend peu à peu tout le sucre pour lui, laissant son compagnon les mains vides.
La fresque a été réalisée pour honorer la mémoire de l'acteur napolitain dans le quartier où il est né, et aussi pour offrir au quartier un nouvel élément de revalorisation culturelle. Tono Cruz, en effet, avec d'autres street artistes, a participé au projet promu par le père Antonio Loffredo et la Fondation Communautaire San Gennaro. Déjà en 2015, il avait peint sur la place de l'église la fresque "Luce", et avec l'artiste chilien Mono Gonzalez, il avait décoré le clocher d'une église du quartier.

In the Rione Sanità, in Naples, on the facade of a building, there is a mural dedicated to Totò, a famous Neapolitan comic actor of the twentieth century. The street art work has been made by Tono Cruz, a Spanish artist from the Gran Canaries, and represents the famous scene from the movie "The band of honest men", in which Totò explains to Peppino how capitalism works, using the metaphor of the sugar. The scene of the movie can be seen at this link. The capitalist takes advantage of the engraving of others to steal resources from them. In this scene, indeed, since Peppino does not know how much sugar to pour into his cup of coffee, Totò gradually takes all the sugar for himself. The mural was done to honor the memory of the Neapolitan actor in the neighborhood where he was born, and also to give the district an additional element of cultural revaluation. In fact, Tono Cruz, together with other street artists, participated in the project promoted by Antonio Loffredo, preacher of the Church Santa Maria della Sanità, and by the San Gennaro Community Foundation. Already in 2015 Tono Cruz had painted the mural "Luce" in the church square, and together with the Chilean artist Mono Gonzalez he had decorated the bell tower of a church in the neighborhood.
